In 2001 GTS developed and launched the Real Estate section of The New York Times online, which grew into the most successful Real Estate Portal in the New York metropolitan area. GTS later launched the online Real Estate vertical of The Boston Globe, then later followed by the community newspapers.
GTS also launched the Automotive sections of The New York Times along with their community newspapers then deployed the Marketplace Platform to support other website channels including travel for The New York Times and Boston Globe. Over a decade later the strong partnership continues to flourish with innovative new technology supporting critical online initiatives.
In 2006 GTS launched the online Shopping section of HGTV leveraging the GTS Marketplace Platform, supporting over 2,000,000 products and services. In 2007 GTS developed and powers Frontdoor.com with over 5,000,000 real estate listings for sale nationally. In a short period of time Frontdoor has grown to become a competitive national portal attracting home seekers and real estate industry professionals to the prestigious brand, with a product that includes original rich content from HGTV.
GTS also developed custom applications for other companies owned by the parent Scripps Networks including an international version of Food.com for the Food Network, among other products, and also powers numerous Real Estate and Automotive channels for Scripps Newspapers.
In 2011 GTS developed and deployed the Digital Marketing Solution for Sotheby’s International Realty (SIR), which is referred to as “The Cascading Platform”. The multi-tier architecture of the platform offered a parent website for SothebysRealty.com, broker websites for the SIR affiliate network worldwide, and agent websites that are licensed under each brokerage.
This enables all of the SIR listings globally, rich content, and custom designs, to be shared among all websites that are part of the platform. The product is translated in 15 languages presenting financial information in 50 currencies, and includes auto generated video for listings in multiple languages.
GTS has been a partner of the Hearst Corporation since 2005 developing, powering, and managing Real Estate and Automotive applications for their media properties, including The Houston Chronicle, San Francisco Chronicle, and San Antonio Express-News.
GTS also developed Automotive products for Hearst Television. Over six years later the strong partnership continues to flourish with innovative new technology supporting critical online initiatives.
